Cancellation Policy

Actidog group sessions: Standard terms and conditions Payment, cancellation and refunds All bookings are on a pay upfront basis - your booking will not be confirmed until your payment has been received. Payment can be made by PayPal or credit/debit card via Stripe. Client cancellations for any reason (excluding extreme weather) up to 7 days before a session are refundable/transferrable to another date. Any cancellations within 7 days will be non-refundable. In the event of extreme weather conditions, sessions may be transferrable to a later date at the discretion of, and agreement with, your trainer. Health and safety You are responsible for the health and safety of yourself and your dog during the session. You must follow the health and safety guidelines provided by your canicross trainer. Sessions take place in public locations where we may encounter other dogs and owners, including off-lead. We do not use aversive equipment (shock collars, prong collars etc.) or training methods and do not allow clients to do so on our sessions. Muzzles, if required, are permitted - these must be basket-style (e.g. Baskerville) with room to allow the dog to pant. Please ensure your dog is muzzle-trained before attending a session. Please do not attend if you or your dog are suffering from any infectious illnesses (e.g. COVID, norovirus, kennel cough). For bitches coming into season, we advise you to reschedule your session to avoid unwanted distractions and for the safety or your dog, as well as that of other dogs we may meet. General Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the session and used at our discretion for the purposes of training or social media. Photographs and/or recordings remain the property of Actidog Canicross & Cani-hiking and Woofwood Dog Walking Club. This session is for pet owners to learn the foundations of canicross with their dogs, supported by a qualified and licenced canicross trainer (via DogFit). It does not in any way qualify you as a canicross trainer and you may not use what you have learned to train others, or for any other commercial purposes.
